Mobifreaks
In 2010 phones were getting real browsers, but most websites weren't ready for them. I started Mobifreaks to share free mobile website templates. For a while it ranked #1 on Google for “Free Mobile Website Templates”, and people around the world built their sites on them.
Here are all 22, open source under MIT. Each demo runs as it did then: same markup, same CSS, same lorem ipsum. I only fixed
what time broke: dead image services, http links and a very old jQuery.
Business Mobi, in 10 colours
The most used one. A small business site with a photo slider, about, services and contact pages. Each colour comes from the Flat UI palette. Pick one to open its live demo.
The rest of the collection
Built for the phones of 2011, before responsive design was everywhere. They look best on a phone.
All source code is on GitHub, MIT licensed. Take them apart.
