How it started
- Childhood
Papa's typewriter
It started in Nellore, next to my Papa in his office, watching him draft documents on a typewriter. Later it got upgraded to a PC at BSNL, the first computer I ever saw up close. I played Dave on it and drew in Paint.
- 9th grade
Somebody I knew was building websites
A relative was building his own software company and websites. Suddenly “making things on a computer” wasn’t magic. It was a job.
- 10th grade
Suresh Sir's HTML lesson
Our computer textbook got delayed, so our computer teacher, Suresh Sir, taught us the ABCs of HTML instead. I was hooked.
- The café years
MSN homepage, PlayStation & phone games
Internet cafés with the browser homepage set to MSN. Mario on a cartridge console hooked up to the TV, then PlayStation and phone games. Gadgets were how I learned how things work.
